I am also obsessed with sea glass. I live in Duluth MN which is on Lake Superior. One of my favorite things to do is to go to the shore and pick sea glass and other unique rocks (agates too). I have a jar full of them and I have made picture frames with the sea glass. I love the ideas you have for jewelry! I am going to have to try to make some! Thanks for the pictures and it is nice to know that there are fellow sea glass lovers out there! 🙂
I’m in Guelph, Ontario, but my favourite place to look for sea glass is Victoria, BC. My mother and father met there and both had an obsession with fishing floats.
The beaches in Victoria are heavily hunted but the supply over the last century has been pretty good. I once met a woman who was sitting in the sand picking up minute pieces of sea glass. She pointed out how relaxing it was just to search. I took her advice and gather enough tiny bits to fill a small glass perfume bottle.
Sometimes I think we need to refresh the supply … Jen

Love your blog! I picked up my first bits of sea glass from the Erie shore today…near Cleveland, OH & I am hooked! 🙂
